The chorus of cheering fans was a welcome change for goalie Tuukka Rask after the Boston Bruins won just their second home game in nearly three months. The reaction to Sunday's 2-1 win over the New York Rangers was far more enjoyable than the send-off on Thursday night when the crowd didn't appreciate Boston's lackluster performance in a 3-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

With timely offense and solid goaltending, the Florida Panthers finally found a way to win on home ice. Nathan Horton, David Booth and Cory Stillman scored in the first period and the Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-2 on Sunday. Stephen Weiss and Radek Dvorak added third-period goals, and Scott Clemmensen made 29 saves for Florida.
Coyotes top Blackhawks, win streak at 8

Radim Vrbata and the Phoenix Coyotes did what only three teams have done -- rally after two periods to beat the Chicago Blackhawks. Vrbata scored the lone goal of the shootout and the Coyotes twice came back from two-goal deficits to beat the Blackhawks 5-4 on Saturday night for their eighth straight win.
Red Wings' Zetterberg beats OT buzzer

Down by a couple of goals, missing a couple of forwards and playing for the second straight night, the Detroit Red Wings never stopped coming at the Vancouver Canucks. If they want to make the playoffs for a 19th straight season, they will have to repeat that night after night. Henrik Zetterberg scored as the overtime buzzer sounded to lift the Red Wings to a dramatic 4-3 victory over the Canucks.

The new-look Atlanta Thrashers are showing they didn't give up on the playoffs when they traded Ilya Kovalchuk. Colby Armstrong and Nik Antropov have helped lead a more balanced scoring attack that has the Thrashers back in playoff contention. Armstrong scored two goals and the Thrashers beat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-2 on Saturday night for their third straight win.
