Predators Team Report
(Wed, 07 Jan 2009 02:36:32 PST)
Look for the telephone lines between the Predators and the Milwaukee Admirals to heat up.
Right wing Ryan Jones was recalled Tuesday morning, and he responded with the Predators' only goal of the game that night.
Coach Barry Trotz indicated that more Admirals might be on the way as the Predators continue to try to shake up their offense.
"We are looking at Mike Santorelli as a possible call-up, just because he is scoring," said Trotz. "We have a lot of guys who are not scoring.
"Do I believe in this group and that they can pull this thing around and start scoring? Absolutely. But right now it's not happening, so we're looking for all of the resources in the organization."
Another possible call-up is Patric Hornqvist.
