Both teams will be well-rested when Portland plays host to Detroit on Wednesday.
The Blazers headed home Sunday night after a road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, while the Pistons were planning to stay in L.A. until Tuesday afternoon after beating the Clippers on Sunday afternoon.
The Pistons aren't likely to be at full strength—Richard Hamilton has missed five games and counting with a slight tear in his left groin, and Rasheed Wallace has missed two games. But Wallace—a key component of the "Jail Blazers' era—could return Wednesday from a sore right foot. And Detroit has won their last seven games.
The Blazers will continue to be without injured guard Brandon Roy (hamstring), but they are 12-4 at home and have a chance to sweep the season...

Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 of his 30 points in the first half, and Jason Terry had 19 to help surging Dallas beat the Blazers 102-94 on Thursday night.
