Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle was ejected for arguing in the second quarter of Dallas' game Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki was stripped by Brian Cardinal while driving for a layup. The Timberwolves converted the turnover into a fast-break dunk with 6:30 left in the second.

Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki has been suspended for one game for a flagrant foul in a game against the Utah Jazz. Stu Jackson, the league's executive vice president for basketball operations, announced the suspension on Sunday, when Nowitzki will sit out the Mavericks' game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki was ejected in the fourth quarter for a flagrant foul on Utah's Matt Harpring. Nowitzki backhanded Harpring in the mouth with 9:48 left to play after Utah's Kyrylo Fesenko scored on an offensive rebound. After the ball went through the net, Harpring caught it he and Nowitzki tangled under the basket.
