Hawks Team Report
(Sun, 21 Mar 2010 00:40:23 PDT)
If the playoffs started today, the Hawks and Charlotte Bobcats would get it on in the first round as the third and sixth seeds in the Eastern Conference.
And if that series went anything like the game they played Friday night at Philips Arena, a game the Hawks won 93-92, we'd all be in for a treat.
That's there's even a hypothetical scenario where these two teams could square off in the postseason is a testament to the men coaching the clubs.
"It's a great win for our franchise. Six years ago, we wouldn't have won a game like that," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said. "It was a playoff atmosphere. Anytime you play Coach (Larry) Brown's teams, they're going to defend and rebound.
